Sumer is Icumin In

To all those villagers who have taken the decision not to use their powered mowers, strimmers, hedgecutters, drills etc after 6pm on Saturdays and Sundays, may I, on behalf of all peace-loving parishioners, thank you most sincerely for your thoughtfulness.

Dog Fouling

Unfortunately, the issue of dogs fouling the grass verges on Whatcote Road is still with us. The start of the grass-cutting season and the resultant arrival of lawn-mowers on these verges has uncovered considerable quantities of what ought not to be there.

PLEASE will owners prevent their dogs from using this tended grass as lavatories, and if the dog gets away from you, please clean up the resultant mess yourself.
