Garden Club

Thank you to everyone who supported our Plant Sale outside the Village Hall on 15th May. The enthusiasm of both sellers and buyers, and cups of hot coffee, easily compensated for the rather cool weather.  We were inundated with a wonderful array of plants, seeds and produce.  Buyers seemed to come from far and near and were soon on their way with boxes and bags full of ‘goodies’.

Have you planted up your container, ready for the competition (open to non members)? We are hoping to top last year’s bumper entry. Don’t forget to return your entry form to either Rosemary Brown or Lilian Welsby.

We still have a few seats available on the coach trip to Savill Gardens, Surrey, on Tuesday 17th June.  Cost will be £13 approx. (depending on numbers), to include the cost of the coach and entry to the gardens. Guests and friends are very welcome to join us.   Please ring Lilian  (01295 680468) to book your place.
