"I'll Volunteer in 2006" A resolution you should keep Helpers are needed by these very worthy local groups: Mencap Society Stratford & District (Helping those with learning disabilities) - needs a Minute Secretary for the Quarterly Executive Meetings of Stratford and District SSAFA - Forces Help (Helping Serving and ex-service men and women and their families) - needs people to help those supported by obtaining practical and financial assistance from the state and other places. Age Concern Warwickshire (Befriending service for vulnerable lonely isolated older people) - needs befrienders to help those in need. Befrienders for the Radway and Ettington areas are particularly needed. Contact the Elderly (Taking elderly isolated people out the Sunday afternoon tea in small parties.) - needs Sunday afternoon rota drivers (to take elderly people to tea parties) and semi-annual hosts for those parties (of up to 14 people twice a year). Council for Voluntary Service, Stratford (facilitates projects with other voluntary organisations) - needs a volunteer treasurer to maintain an overview of the company's financial affairs. We urgently need volunteer drivers to help us with our Community Transport Scheme, (40p per mile allowance paid).
