Robin Hutsby

Rob was a larger than life character, with enormous energy. Those of us who regularly travelled the gated road will often have seen him and stopped for a quick chat, only to discover that an hour had gone by. He loved the Warwickshire countryside deeply and enjoyed watching the wildlife, but would also regularly go on safari to Africa and had many and varied tales to tell of his experiences there.

Together with Sue he built up and ran a very successful bed and breakfast business as well as continuing with his first love, farming.

Those of us who knew him well will sorely miss not only his charm, kindness and good humour, but also his occasional flashes of irascibility, which made him the person he was.

Our sympathy goes to Sue, Luke and Kerry. We have lost one of Warwickshire’s true characters.
