Bees Wanted - Hives Waiting

Reports in the press of the demise of the honey bee have been much exaggerated, albeit some beekeepers have suffered the odd colony loss over the winter months.  The recent spell of warm weather and early spring flowers have meant that colonies that survived are harvesting a bumper crop of nectar already this year.  Some hives are reaching a point where increase in bee numbers is putting pressure on living space and causing half of the colony to consider moving out.

Should you be lucky enough to see a swarm of bees, please telephone me at the earliest opportunity and I will attempt to capture it and give it a new home.  Reward, eventually(!), of a jar of honey to the finder.
