Notes of the Oxhill Parish Council Meeting

Tuesday 20th November 2007 at 8.00pm in the Village Hall

Apologies were received from Carol Taylor and Gwyneth Adams.

Matters Discussed

Local Emergency Plan

Mike Shepherd gave an update on the response he had received for initiating an emergency plan for Oxhill.  Several people had already volunteered but more were needed.  A list of those able to help and a list of Village Hall key holders would be provided.  Mike will be issuing his own report on this subject.

Dog Nuisance

Several complaints have been received about dogs barking, both day and night, in various parts of the village.  Could dog owners please try and keep this type of noise nuisance down to a minimum as it does cause stress to some people and we don’t want to get the Environmental Health involved if it can be avoided.

Planning

Application for 60m high anemometry mast at Church Farm had been returned with a request for more information and discussion.

Permission had been granted for single storey extension at Appletree Cottage and permission granted to fell one conifer at Binswood Cottage.

Vandalism

One of the Oxhill Village signs had been spray painted as an act of vandalism.  This had been cleaned at a cost to the community.
