News from the Peacock Update As I write this with fingers crossed, our completion date for taking over at the Peacock is January 3rd, 2008. Much later than we had hoped or anticipated but never the less a date we are looking forward to. January will start off quite quietly as we are planning quite a major refit of the kitchen and storage areas ready for a major launch in February. We plan to open on Tuesday 8th January, with a limited food menu. Our first event will be the coffee morning and look forward to meeting you all on Wednesday January 9th (a week later than usual) with lunch being on the 3rd Wednesday as usual – January 16th. Menus will be available at the coffee morning. At the coffee morning we will properly introduce ourselves and let you know about the speciality evenings we have planned for the future.
