African Visitors

People will be interested to know that we will be entertaining two ladies from Kaduna, Nigeria at the end of the month.  They are coming to see best practice in Primary and Pre-school education as part of Companionship Links, a Coventry Diocese initiative set up by Bishop Colin in 2000.  Jim and I have worked as lay volunteers for this since 2005 and the Well Project that people have supported is part of it too.  I currently co-ordinate education  within the Links.

Mrs Agnes Awogbami is Head Teacher of St Michael’s Primary School which is attached to the Anglican cathedral, with about 400+ pupils, and Mrs Rahila Mallam is a nursery teacher at Our Saviour Primary School.  They will be going into Shipston Primary, Kineton Primary, Tysoe Primary and Finham Pre-school in Coventry and will be out and about during the three weeks that they are here.

We hope to bring them to the coffee morning.
