Chernobyl's Children

A big thank you to the fantastic army of helpers, those who donated produce and prizes and of course to everyone who came along and made the event such a success. We raised £834 on the morning and also received over £400 in donations.

The Belarussian children really benefit from their month in the UK; receiving medical and dental checks, eating food free from contamination and getting plenty of fresh air. They really enjoy the fun and games at the Coffee Morning and they love seeing the Oxhill scarecrows.

We were very pleased that the sun came out for what has become an international event! There were visitors from America and a couple from Sydney who were driving past and decided to pop in.

Thank you all again for your continued support, it is greatly appreciated.
