Weekday Walkers The following are the walks for August: Friday 12th August This is a 6 mile walk from Northend to Avon Dassett with 550 feet of accent. Lunch will be at The Avon, Avon Dassett. Leave Oxhill at 9:30am. Friday 26th August This is an 6.5 mile walk from Darlingscote to Ilmington with 300 feet of ascent. Lunch will be at the Red Lion Ilmington. Leave Oxhill at 9:30am. Due to the numbers on the walk Jim Saxton now contacts regular members to get meal decisions by Wednesday evening. Those who wish to join us are most welcome, but please contact Jim Saxton on 01295 680613 or at saxton @ tiscali.co.uk before the Tuesday evening prior to the walk. |
