Thursday 'Afternoon Delight' (or Knit & Natter)

Our last two sessions have again been very well supported. On 29 September, everyone thoroughly enjoyed Ann Hales’ talk on Oxhill in the past and on 13 October; Barbara Shepherd helped people with an introduction to ‘Smocking’.  However, for the first half of the afternoon, we stood out in the sunshine watching the ‘Help the Heroes’ stage coaches drive past following their excellent lunch at the Royal Oak.

Our next activities will be:

10 Nov - Greetings Card Making

24 Nov - Christmas Crafts

If you don’t want to participate in any of the above, feel free to come along for a cup of tea and to ‘Knit & Natter’. Also don’t forget the BOOK EXCHANGE. If you’d like to know more, then call Tricia Harbour on 680676 or feel free to just turn up and join in.

This site is maintained by villagers of Oxhill for the benefit of the community and those interested in the history, news and activities that make the village such a pleasant place to live.
