From Lillian Welsby Lower Brailes - 11.05.2012 Dear Friends of Oxhill. A very very BIG Thank you for the kind gift you gave me. I have so many items that I need to purchase for my new home so I can assure you that your generous donations will be put to good use. I have settled well in my bungalow and am happy, warm and cosy. I do of course miss my many good friends that I have made over my 60 years and all or part of 7 decades as an Oxhill resident! How things have changed over those years. I am grateful for your support as a village in the fund raising events for the church especially the scarecrow weekends. I do hope that you will continue to support the fund raising in my absence it is vital to keep the lovely church in good repair. I will see you from time to time when popping over to visit, or at the doctors, shop or post office in Tysoe and you are always welcome to visit me here in Brailes.
