Seven people attended the meeting chaired by David Hill, Chairman of Oxhill Parish Council.

Minutes of the previous meeting were read, agreed and signed.

Faster Broadband Connections for Rural Areas

A presentation was given by Balvinder Heran, Stratford District Council.  Funding was available to the Council via Broadband UK and DEFRA which then has to be matched pound for pound by the District.  Money was available from the Lottery of £10,000 per Parish which has to be applied for and put into the “pot” of the District Council. There was a need to get as many people as possible interested in receiving a faster broadband connection.  Discussion took place and question answered.

Shipston Forum - Live Link 

A representative from Warwickshire County Council informed the meeting of a pilot scheme to connect the Shipston Forum local meeting by a live-link.  This is scheduled for 12th June.  More information will be sent to the Parish Council.

There was no other business meeting closed at 8.10 p.m.
