Oxhill Olympic Connection Carol Clark writes to me with news of her nephew, James Clark who has been selected for the Australian Men’s Waterpolo Team. At 21, he is the team’s second youngest member. James is the grandson of Vera Clark, who lived in the village between 1953 and 2002, and whom many people will remember. James’ details can be seen at http://london2012.olympics.com.au/athlete/james-clark James’ mother Joan and aunt Carol, (who were both born and brought up in Oxhill) hope to visit here during the Olympic fortnight, and would be happy to meet up with old friends.
