Notes of the Oxhill Parish Council Meeting

Tuesday 11h July 2012 at 8.00pm in the Village Hall

Apologies received from Brian Badger.

Matters Discussed

Finance

Invoice received for £320 for printing the Oxhill News Jan – May 2012.  To keep printing costs down the Editors, Paula and Vanessa are going into production with less pages and less colour on a trial bases.  Invoice received from John McKail for carrying out internal audit for year to 31 March 2012.  These were both paid.

Planning

Application for 2 storey extensions to rear, side and front at Oakwoods House, Green Lane was returned with no objection.  Application to fell chestnut tree at the corner of Rouse Lane was supported.

Dog Fouling – Manor Lane

Recently dog fouling down Manor Lane has become a problem, particularly when children ride their cycles up and down this lane.  The majority of dog owners are responsible and clean up after their animals but unfortunately not everyone.  Could we please ask that you clean up after your dogs foul within the village.

In practice the role of “Street Champion” would involve the delivery of community safety packs to those who experience burglary.  If you are interested contact Julie Dale, Co-ordinator 01926 684286 or e-mail watch@warwickshire police.uk

Reminder to protect horses, tact and property.  For information visit www.warwickshire-horsewatch.co.uk
