Village Hall Events

A new take on an old favourite – meet in the Village Hall for a glass or two of Prosecco and then off to various houses throughout the Village for some interesting Italian dishes and then on again to another couple of destinations for more varieties of super Italian food before returning to the Village Hall for Desserts &. Coffee.

For the Italian ‘traveller’ you get to meet different people, see different houses and taste different delicacies and for the hosts you have all the fun of welcoming people into your home but without the stress of preparing and cooking a full meal to a tight schedule.

We are looking for hosts to provide a selection of Italian dishes for 4 to 10 guests and for those who wish to join in but are unable to host a course; tickets are available at £17.50 per head, (a bargain for a variety of good food and wine at 3 host’s homes!)

An Indian Feast – Saturday, 13 October

Our ever popular Indian Feast Night is back and a selection of exotic Indian dishes will be available to tempt your taste buds on Saturday October 13th from the many and diverse regions of Oxhill. There will be tasty curries from South Oxhill, exotic Chutneys from Central Oxhill and delicious vegetable accompaniments from the furthest reaches of North Oxhill. Tickets are priced at £12.50 per person.

Friday Night at the Village Hall – Friday 16 November

Our popular Friday Night at the Village Hall returns on November 16^th with a meal and desert for the bargain price of £8. More details to follow but put the date in your diary now.

Christmas Cocktail & Canapés Evening – Friday, 7 December

We are repeating the very successful Cocktail evening to celebrate the Christmas season, consisting of a variety of Canapés and some new, improved Cocktails on Friday 7 December. The Hall will be specially decorated to reflect the season and appropriate mood music will be playing softly in the background for this special Posh Frocks & Black Tie (or suits) evening. The price will be £12.50 per head and includes a selection of delicious canapés and 2 cocktails. Additional drinks will be available and the evening will run from 8.00pm to 10.30pm (or later!). This is a great way to start the Christmas season and meet up and socialise with your friends.
