The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medals The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal is the official Medal designed to mark HRM The Queen’s 60 years on the throne. It is awarded to Emergency Service Personnel and Community First Responders who respond to the scene of 999 calls and who are potentially placing themselves in danger. In order to receive the Medal the person has to be in service on 06-02-12 and have completed five full calendar year’s service.
We have actually been in service for more than nine years and so on the 21st August we were visited by a senior Ambulance Office , who, on behalf of the Queen, presented us with our Medals. Mick and Barbara Shepard |
