St Lawrence's Church Fund Raising Auction of Promises - November 17th in the Old Chapel at 7.30pm This fundraiser replaces the Scarecrow Festival which we did not do this year. The response to offering promises has been tremendous so the evening will be very interesting. The team has worked hard to gather them in We have promises ranging from holiday cottages, day on a narrowboat to B&B in Snowdonia and from cakes and puddings, a beautiful rug ,pottery class to babysitting. Please come and enjoy the fun of bidding. We plan to have catalogues available from 14th November £1 each , available from Cath 680958,Val 680215 and Carol 680223. If there any promise forms to come in please can you get them to Val or Cathasap so we can include them in the catalogue. Look forward to seeing you there. Pig roast and Skittles evening Thank you to all who came to support the Church on this very enjoyable evening. The weather was dry but cold,too cold to play skittles so we plan to arrange this evening earlier in September next year. A very big thankyou to the ladies who help to make the delicious feast. Thanks to everyone we raised £510 for the Restoration Fund. Oxhill PCC |
