Live & Local in Whatcote 5th April at 7:30pm Whatcote has managed to get the amazing Devil's Violin Company to come and perform their “A Love like Salt” on Friday 5th April at 7:30pm in the Community Centre (St Peter's Church). As story tellers they unlock folk tales that have inspired some great works of literature including Shakespeare's King Lear and tales from Chaucer and takes them on a new voyage of discovery! The evening is full of words and music about magic, morals, villains, lovers, desire and disguise – story telling doesn't get any better than this! Suitable for Adults and Children 12+ Donation bar and nibbles – Doors open 7:00pm Tickets £8.00 available from Penny Pritchard (01295 680689) or on the door.
