Vicarage Notes

Restoration Project

Matters are proceeding steadily. The architect’s specification has been received and English Heritage are currently checking it through. This is used for the faculty application which I am now completing. We should be able to go out to tender very soon and finally have things set for the work in the spring. The timeline, although slow, is as expected.

Theft of lead from St.Lawrence’s

It is just so sad to report the theft of lead from the porch roof  in recent weeks. When kind people are creating, criminals are destroying. We are looking into the insurance on this so I am hoping for no further burdens.

Harvest Festival

Although I am writing just before the Harvest service and concert, I am sure we will have enjoyed good support. Thank you to all who are involved in the planning and all who shared in the occasion.

Our thoughts and prayers go to all who have been in hospital over recent weeks. It is at these times when the friendship, fellowship and good neighbourliness of Oxhill is truly appreciated

Best wishes and God bless,

Nicholas Morgan
