Lunch Thanks

Christmas is coming,
The geese are getting fat -
lease put a penny in the old man’s hat.
If you haven’t got a penny, a ha’penny will do
If you haven’t a hav’penny -
Well, God bless you!

So a certain generation of us used to sing. Anyhow, the present senior citizens thoroughly a wonderful lunch in the Village Hall, recently, provided by the V.H. Committee, ladies and gentlemen.

I am sure that everyone who was these will join me in saying a big thank you to Gaynor and all her helpers in the hall and behind the scenes who contributed in any way not forgetting “the Girls” who entertained us so well -

Aye! It’ll soon be Christmas!
