Whatcote Road Drain Replacement Works
As a resident of Whatcote Road I naturally take great interest in the progress of the drain replacement project. Now that they have got past Main Street it is again easy to get in and out of the Village, though as expected, there will be a couple of days when you can’t get the car on or off the drive.
We have been most impressed by the care and consideration shown to us by the workers who have endured some grim winter weather over the past few weeks, and commend their cheerfulness under these circumstances. Here they are having a coffee break while Whatcote road residents show their appreciation to the contractors who are replacing the sewage pipe. Coffee and cake were served for elevenses. The carrot cake was made by James and Freya.
