Leys Field

I would like to thank all those who attended the Parish Council Leys Field meeting – see official Parish Council report. Well over 80 residents turned up and I believe even more called in to the Stansgate ‘drop-in’ meeting. It seems that it is an almost unanimous vote against ANY development in that field. It is my wish to keep everyone in the village up to date on any development on this proposal, and in the event of it going to planning application, we will need a rapid response by email to the Planning Officer at Stratford District Council. To that end, as those who attended the meeting will know, we are setting up a village ‘email loop’. If you wish to be included in this, please email Mike Collins at mike.collins@btinternet.com and he will set you up within the loop. It really is important to do this if you don’t want to see the loss of the unique character of the village. It doesn’t matter where you live in the village, it will affect you.
