PCC AGM

Held on 7th April 2016

Canon reverend Nicholas Morgan chaired the meeting. Belinda Marklew took the minutes in the absence of Linda Synge.

Apologies were received.

Vestry meeting and election of church wardens:

Minutes of previous Vestry meeting 2015 were agreed and signed. Charles MacCall and Carol Fox were elected church wardens for the coming year. 

PCC Annual meeting followed:

Minutes from 2015 were agreed and Electoral Roll was  presented by Douglas Nethercleft who is electoral roll officer. There are 39 parishioners on the electoral roll. In the absence of the treasurer the chairman presented the financial report. Reports were presented on proceedings in council, social and fundraising, Deanery Synod, and church and churchyard.

Lilian Welsby reported on Social and fund raising. One fundraiser event was run jointly with the village hall committee. 

Charles MacCall reported on work done last year on the church itself.  Charles and Nadia were thanked for all the work they did.

Carol Fox and Douglas Nethercleft continue as representatives of Deanery Synod.

The following were elected as members of PCC for the coming year:-

James Synge,.
   Treasurer
Sue Hunt, Martin Hunt, Belinda Marklew,
Lilian Welsby, Gill Rodwell, Nadia MacCall, Diane Harper

Katy Whittaker, Health and Safety Rep.

PCC Elected as sides men with Bill Fox and John McKail

Those on church cleaning and flower arranging rotas were thanked for all they do for the church.

The auditor was appointed.

The chairman gave his comments and remarks on the past year. Nicholas, Martin and Jill were thanked for all the hard work they have done, particularly Nicholas over the last 10 years.
