Upton Jazz

Here at Upton House we are starting to get busy as the weather warms up. The gardens are blooming beautifully, and our events programme is packed with things to do.

We are also welcoming some new volunteers. As we get busier we are looking for new capable, friendly volunteers to help with all kinds of things. From photography to making tea, there are plenty of ways to get involved. In early July we are very excited to be running our Jazz Party again:

Victory Jazz Party, Saturday 9 July 2016, 7pm-9.30pm.

The Jazz Party at Upton has been a fantastic event for the last few years, really bringing the community together and very popular with local residents.

The fantastic Debbie Arthurs’ Sweet Rhythm is back again to entertain the picnickers, and dancers from “Hoppin’ Mad” are going to entertain you with some demonstrations, and maybe even encourage you to get up and dance the night away. The gardens will be open from 6pm for picnics and evening strolls, so you can take advantage of the evening opening hours to have a walk in Upton’s beautiful summer gardens before the music begins.

Tickets are £15 for adults or £7.50 for children if booked in advance. If bought on the door adult tickets are £17.50. Booking is advisable. There is also a special offer on groups: buy 10 tickets for the price of 9!
