Harvest Festival

This was sadly the last service to be conducted by Nicholas. It was a beautiful service, very well attended. The church looked splendid with floral displays and produce including tinned and packed foods that will go to the nearest food bank. It was so nice to have the choir present who sang beautifully? During the service Vanessa presented to us the story of the Organisation for the Liberation of Christian and Yazidi people of Iraq who need flour to make bread. The collection and proceeds from the auction of produce conducted very ably and merrily by Nicholas after the service has been donated to the aforementioned charity. £254 was raised. Thanks to all who helped with Harvest Festival especially the children who made the wonderful harvest display.
