Kineton & Tysoe Surgeries

Dear Patients,

Winter is coming and with this cold weather and dark evenings.  As a practice we are have advice available in the surgery and on our website.   The NHS website

www.nhs.uk/Livewell/winterhealth/ has lots of information on keeping yourself safe and well in winter.   We all have elderly friends, family and neighbours and winter is a time when older people are more vulnerable.

If you're worried about a relative or an elderly neighbour, contact your local council or ring the Age UK helpline on 0800 00 99 66.

Winter also increases heating costs and there are ways that we can look to reduce our energy costs.  The Energy Saving Trust (EST) has advice on how to reduce bills and make your home more energy efficient. They can also advise on grants and schemes available around the UK. Find out more online from the EST website or call 0300 123 1234.

Please don’t forget the Men’s Health Evening talk by Mr Kieran Jefferson and Mr Donald MacDonald consultant urologists 7pm 6th February 2016 at Kineton Surgery.

Regards

Jenny and Raj
