Vicarage Notes Dear friends, It was lovely to welcome so many to the Harvest Festival and hope you all enjoyed the service! Thanks go to everyone who decorated the church so attractively and provided all the produce which was the auctioned for “Farm Africa” – full details in Carol’s notes. The Pig Roast was also really well supported and, once again, thanks go to the fund raising committee for all its hard work! The Bishop of Warwick is visiting the Deanery on the 6th and there will be a special service at Shipston that evening at 7.30pm with a focus on healing – all are invited November is traditionally the month or remembrance, not only because of Remembrance Sunday, which this year is also Armistice Day, but also for All Souls on Fri. 2nd, with its focus on our remembering loved ones who have died over the years. There will be a Communion of Commemoration at Brailes that day (10am) and anyone who would like to come from Oxhill will be most welcome. Best wishes and God bless, Nicholas Morgan 01608 685230 |
