Knit & Natter

Our February sessions have again been very well supported and in March we have meetings on Thursdays, the 6th and 20th at 2.00pm.

The group have been busy knitting and crocheting blankets, teddies and babies’ clothes for our charity ‘Greenfields for Africa’. These will be shipped out to Africa where they are distributed to clinics in Uganda and Western Kenya.  The organisers are at present out there visiting the clinics. We always welcome donations of double knitting wool.

One of our group, Sue Robbins is courageously learning to make ‘pillow’ lace being taught by Janice of Tysoe.

Please feel free to come along for a cup of tea and to ‘Knit & Natter’. Also don’t forget the BOOK EXCHANGE. If you’d like to know more, then call Tricia Harbour on 680676 or just turn up and join in.

Thanks to Joyce and Katrina McKail for pictures and information.
